If you’re reading this right now, there’s a decent chance you’re into productivity.
Congratulations! That’s pretty cool. Being a motivated and focused person definitely has its benefits.
On the other hand, things aren’t always so easy. Sometimes bad advice can be slipped in with the good, or seemingly good advice can be taken too literally and turned into bad advice.
Today, we’re talking about some times we’ve followed what should have been reasonable advice in one context, but became harmful when we took things a bit too far.
Remember that this train of thought also follows with what you hear from us here at C.I.G. Any advice we give is meant to help — if you find yourself worse off from something we say, consider applying it in a different way, or not applying it at all if it doesn’t fit in with your life.
