Tis’ the summer season for rockin’ contests. Here’s one from one of our favorite blogs, PractialPremed!
Ryan Nguyen, the man behind PracticalPremed, will be giving away three of his favorite books on June 22. The books are:
- The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss
- How to Become a Straight-A Student by Cal Newport
- The 80/20 Principle by Richard Koch
I’ve personally read the first two books on this list, and they literally changed my life – they’re what motivated my ass to start pulling semester 4.0’s and even to start this blog. I’ve also heard amazing things about The 80/20 Principle from people like Ryan and author Josh Kauffman, and it’s definitely on my reading list.
So, how do you win these bad boys? It’s pretty simple – the contest entry method is pretty similar to what we used for our recent Adobe CS5 contest. Simply leave a comment on the contest announcement on PracticalPremed, like PracticalPremed on Facebook, or follow him on Twitter. You’ve only got to do one, but from what I can tell, doing all three will triple your chances of winning.
At midnight on June 21, Ryan will choose a winner at random to receive brand new copies of the books.
Well, what are you waiting for?
Get on over to PracticalPremed and enter!
Good luck! One last announcement – Ryan has also joined College Info Geek as a writer. If you’ve read PracticalPremed in the past, you know that Ryan is a fantastic writer and has a mind that’s essentially a treasure trove of productivity and study advice. We’re super-stoked to have him on board; look forward to seeing his first post soon. In the mean time, you can read his bio on our “About Us” page!
