Last night I got a couple packages in the mail. One of them was my copy of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection (that’s right, bros), and the other was a webcam I ordered. This isn’t just any webcam, though; this is the Logitech C910 Pro HD Webcam.
The C910 is one of the few webcams that can record your beautiful face in gorgeous 1080p. It’s also got dual mics – one of each side the camera. Speaking of the camera, Logitech really went no-holds-barred on it. This webcam features a Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, and even has the ability to follow your face around if it’s zoomed in.
I got this webcam so I can starting doing a new type of feature on College Info Geek – interviews. My first interview will be with entrepreneur Leo Widrich, who co-founded Buffer, so be sure to check back for that post!
Anyway, my first impressions of the camera were great. The body is solid metal, the hinges are smooth but stick well, and the whole thing just feels like a premium piece of hardware. If you’re coming to this from a regular webcam like I did, you’re going to be blown away.
Check out my impressions in the video below. If you are looking to get it, use my link below to go to Amazon where you can get it for $25 less than you’d pay at Best Buy.

Hi, I want to use the webcam with the recording and import function through iMovie, is this able to happen? Cheers, Jason.
@jasonzpagara I think so – it’s a standard webcam so OS X should recognize it just fine.
Hi Am I able to make FaceTime HD video calls with this camera? Many ThanksJason
I like how you said that you ordered yourself a camera… isn’t it your birthday present (from me
)
No silly, that’s the Zi8. This is the C910
